Who is eligible:
1st Time Buyers and Buyers who have not owned in the past 3 years. Exceptions granted to Veterans and in Federally designated Target Areas.
Preliminary requirements to qualify for the CalHFA programs are:
- Pay bills in a timely manner
- No Bankruptcy in the past 2 years
- Applicants plan on living in the property
- Two year job history
